Submission Checklist
Welcome to British Business Review, an academic journal dedicated to high-quality, concise, and qualitative research in business. We invite researchers, academics, and professionals to submit their work, adhering to the following guidelines.
Manuscript Length and Language
- Submissions should be approximately 1500 to 4000 words (excluding references)
- Concise and well-structured papers are encouraged.
- We only accept submissions written in English.
Formatting Requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point
- Spacing: Double-spaced
- Margins: 2.5 cm (top and left), 2 cm (bottom and right)
- Page Numbers: All pages must be numbered
- Subheadings: Use appropriate headings and subheadings for readability
Abstract
- Include a brief abstract of up to 150 words summarizing the study’s purpose, methodology, and findings.
- Keywords (5) should be listed in one line, separated by commas.
Focus & Methodology
- We exclusively accept qualitative research, including but not limited to empirical studies, literature reviews, theoretical analyses, and methodological papers.
- Complex numerical analyses and heavy quantitative models are not encouraged.
Structure
A typical manuscript should follow this structure:
- Title Page: Title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), and Contact Information
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Literature Review
- Methodology
- Findings & Discussion
- Conclusion
- References
Referencing Style
- All citations must follow APA 7th edition referencing style.
- In-text citations must align with the reference list.
Originality & Plagiarism Policy
- Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
- All papers will be checked for plagiarism using standard software.
Peer Review Process
- All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- The review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.
- Authors will receive constructive feedback, and if revisions are required, they must be resubmitted within the specified deadline.
Ethical Considerations
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Research involving human subjects must include details of ethical approval and informed consent.
