Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

The editorial team reserves the right to reject manuscripts at the desk-review stage if they do not meet minimum standards of academic clarity and coherence. Manuscripts must present a clearly defined research question, a logical structure, and a coherent argument. Titles should be succinct, and abstracts must be self-contained and informative. Authors are advised to ensure these elements are in place prior to submission to facilitate the peer review process.

Role of Peer Reviewers

The journal also welcomes applications from scholars who wish to serve as peer reviewers. Peer review is an essential component of the publication process, ensuring academic integrity and the advancement of knowledge. Reviewers are selected based on subject-matter expertise and academic qualifications. This is a voluntary and unpaid role. Interested individuals should contact brr@libt.co.uk with an academic CV and a brief outline of their areas of expertise.
